Item Description
6x8" wood and glass frame with wire hanger on reverse holds nicely matted signature of "Hamlin Garland." The salutation above the signature taken from a letter reads "Yours For The Single Tax." Garland (1860-1940) won a Pulitzer Prize in 1921 for literature. He was also an essayist, social reformer and dabbled in the psychic sciences. The Single Tax Party was most active 1915-1920 the time period of this item. In 1920s era vintage frame sealed with original paper tape on reverse. Comes with Hake's COA.
