12 items. All are 1930s-WWII related to shotguns. Includes 8 3/8x10.75" 1935 catalog #53 with embossed soft covers and 20 extensively illustrated slick paper pages along with pair of 8.25x10 7/8" price lists, one is retail and other is for dealer. Comes with 8.25x10.75" letter to dealers on Browning Arms Co. letterhead. Exc.Catalog has lt. 1.25" crease at upper right throughout but still VF. Both price lists have paper clip impression at top but otherwise Fine. 1938 folder is 3.5x6.25" and opens to 20.75" nicely illustrated on both sides. A few lt. handling creases, folded as issued. Fine. Comes with 8.75x11 7/8" eight page 1938 "Confidential Dealer Price List" with illustrations throughout. Two horizontal folds as mailed with a few lt. handling creases. Fine. 1942 “A History of Browning Guns From 1831" soft cover book is 6.75x9.5" with 64 slick paper pages nicely illustrated throughout. Comes with unused order blank with matching envelope and 7.75x9" slick paper eight page “Confidential Dealer Price List”. Price list has horizontal fold through center as mailed with some foxing at right and a few lt. handling creases along with ink stamp date of Jan. 11, 1941 at top of cover. VG/Fine. Last item is a very interesting group of three letters on Browning Arms Co. letterhead dated between Jan. 8, 1941 and Jan. 27, 1942 noting shortage of guns and related items with text including “You Can Fight The Japs And Nazis In More Than One Way” and “These Guns Are To Be Used For Guarding Purposes And To Train Our Soldiers And Sailors In The Art of Wing Shooting”. All three have horizontal folds through center as mailed, otherwise Exc. Comes with an additional 8.6x11" sheet titled “Used Guns For U. S. Government” noting what type guns are needed and where to ship. Exc. Very interesting group.
