Item Description
Both are soft cover extensively illustrated. 1918 catalog is #81 and is 5.25x8.25" with 216 slick paper pages of guns, parts, shells, etc. A great reference for the time period. Front cover has gentle curl at right and embossed covers have tiny trace of aging. Overall VF/Exc. 1960s catalog is 8.5x11" with nice art on front cover of sportsman in gun shop looking down barrel as salesman watches. Titled at upper left “Gun Salesmans Handbook”. Back cover has nice art of duck hunters at lake edge in sunrise. Contains 80 pages with some accent color with information for salesmen to explain to customers on all types of guns, ammo and what to use while hunting different types of game from ducks or rabbits to caribou or African game. Covers have some lt. handling creases with pinch creases along spine. A few lt. inside page creases but overall Fine/VF. Interesting pair.
