Item Description
12x32.5" vintage wood frame with original cardboard backing has glass with 9x29.5" opening revealing single photo with two images. Image on left is 17" wide showing small crowd with kids on New Orleans street along with Shriners including one sitting on top of camel with flags draped on buildings in bkg. for apparent parade. Image on right is 12-3/8" wide showing camel kneeling and Shriner with his arm around man plus two men standing nearby wearing Jerusalem headdresses and costumes who both appear in photo #1 also. Each photo has been hand signed in white ink at bottom "Butzman 1919". Lower left has small attached card with hand inked text misspelling camel's name "Buddie Camel Jerusalem-New Orleans". Frame has scattered lt. wear, photos have a few tiny dots of missing surface paper but overall Fine. From the Richard Merkin Collection and comes with Hake's COA.
