Item Description
c.1920. 15 7/8x20" cardboard mount has 11x14" photo in center with unusual truck decorated on roof with "Police Relief Fund Field Day" die-cut promo display including revolving "Go" signs. Company made dies which were used to make all sorts of paper novelties, trade cards, signs, etc. A quantity of the finished products are mounted on a sign attached to side of truck. See items 1029-1032 for examples. Mount is worn around edges with some pieces gone. VG. Photo has a few small moisture marks and some dust soil but still displays Fine. Interesting image. From the Richard Merkin Collection and comes with Hake’s COA.
