Upper left of cover has image of Captain America with “1 Special Collectors Issue”. Book contains 288 slick paper pages published by Harry N. Abrams, Inc. NY. Second frontispiece page has bold 3.75x7.75" ink inscription “Merry Xmas, Chuck! Stan Lee 91". Stan Lee, co-creator of a huge number of Marvel’s popular super heroes and villains wrote the introduction for this book. Book includes character profiles of 17 of the most popular super heroes, and has photo portfolio on how comics are created, Marvel collectible memorabilia, and reprints of four classic stories. Exc./N.Mint condition. High quality, the perfect book to have as a Stan Lee signed copy.
