Item Description
Two items. "Voila" October 5, 1935 French magazine is 11-5/8x17" with 16 pages. Back cover has nice photo of Louis seated with his wife holding telegrams. Issue also includes article on Pope Paul XI and life in the Alps. A few lt. handling creases but overall VF. Japanese magazine is 10-3/8x14-7/8" with front cover photo of Louis in boxing gear. Magazine contains 16 newsprint pages all in Japanese but does have English cover title "Boxing Gazette". Includes photos of Japanese boxers but no Americans. Bit of rust at staples and inside pages lightly but evenly tanned at edges. VG. An interesting pair. From the Richard Merkin Collection and comes with Hake's COA.
