Item Description
Late 1940s. Maker unmarked but non-electric version of this gun was advertised in Sunday comic pages for $3.79 from Parker Johns, Chicago. Comes with four larger and numerous smaller pieces of thin cardboard original box, many pieces missing. Poor. 20" long metal clicker gun has bulb in tip for electric flash action. Gun has not been tested but does need a battery to operate. Right side of stock has nice art image of Dick Tracy in badge design w/text "The Only Authorized Dick Tracy Tommy Gun" © New York News Syndicate. Decal is near 100% complete and Exc. Gun has scattered wear with color rubs here and there. Clicks well and has attached original woven fabric sling. Fine. Rare.
