Item Description
No. 722 ©1961 Chicago Tribune-New York News Syndicate. From Mattel's famous "Shootin' Shell" series. 8.5x8.5x2.25" deep die-cut corrugated cardboard shadow box has insert piece with nice image of Dick Tracy at left and Mattel logo at right. Boxed bottom has nice art image of Tracy on right side panel and back panel. Die-cut box bottom has hard vinyl holster with Dick Tracy name on pocket. 7" long gun is combination of metal w/plastic grips and cylinder. Set includes six brass "Shootin' Shells" plus 11 plastic bullets which came in cello bag. Bag is still attached but has splits. Box bottom has vertical split near lower right corner panel. Box otherwise Fine/VF. Gun has trace of lt. wear but working and VF. Holster is N. Mint. A nice display item.
