c. early 1950s. 5.5x9.25x2" deep die-cut thin cardboard box has nice lid graphics of two laughing boys in spaceman outfits shooting at each other on surface of the moon. Lid opens to reveal die-cut insert holding pair of 3.75" tall plastic walkie talkies with antenna on top and plastic spool at bottom of insert with sting for use. No electronics involved.
