Item Description
2-3/8" square slightly convex and highly embossed steel buckle plate with brass luster. Ornate designs with sunburst lines pointing inward towards the large image of the rooster a frequently used 1880 campaign symbol inspired by Hancock's name. Front is missing about 25% of the brass flashing but otherwise condition is Exc. Reverse has a pair of metal bars designed to hold a fabric belt likely part of a campaign parade uniform. First we've seen.
