Item Description
This 1.25" real photo sepia without dot pattern is in the Hake Guide as item #10 in the 1.75" size and in the Hake Guide as item #14 in this 1.25" size. Curiously this button is pictured on item #248 which was made by Baltimore Badge & Novelty Company. However, this button actually has the back paper of Wm. H. Hoegee Co. of Los Angeles. Button's reverse has 1/8" speck of celluloid that failed to fold under the collet but this causes no problem. Front celluloid is N. Mint, displaying Mint. The tiny text reads "For President Theodore Roosevelt/For Vice President Charles W. Fairbanks." The guide price on this button in Hake's 2004 Revised Prices is $500.00. Morry Greener Collection.
