Item Description
The album is 5.75x8.75", bread labels are 2.75x2.75" waxed paper. © 1953 Wilson R. Caskey. Album title reads "Planes Of Many Nations/Aircraft Spotters Handbook." Front cover illustration is of aircraft carrier w/plane taking off and going through a ring of flags from various nations. Back cover is ad for Spaulding Bread w/illustration of bread loaf, aircraft bread labels and text "At Your Grocers Fresh/New Pictures Daily." Has 12 pages w/designated areas for placement of the bread labels along w/plane-related information such as insignia designs and silhouette images. Lt. wear along spine, st. curl along top edge but album remains unused and totally clean. VF. Album is designed to hold 48 different labels. Comes w/32 of the 48. Features aircraft from Great Britain, France, Italy, Soviet Union, India, etc. One label is noticeably stained, others have moderate scattered edge wear and aging but remain fairly clean. Group largely is Fine.
