Item Description
3x4" with 16-pages. Cover is titled "Attack For Victory." Inside front page names author as Harold Smith plus April 1942 date listing the publisher in NYC as "Veterans Of The Abraham Lincoln Brigade." Text is basically a call to arms against Hitler with the next to last paragraph stating "Discrimination Against The Negro People Destroys Unity. We Must Work To Abolish Such Discrimination Both In The Factories And In The Armed Forces." The book concludes with final paragraph "We Are In This War To Win. The War Front and the Home Front are inseparable. Attack for Victory on both. For Victory 1942, open up a Western Front now." Back cover includes "Lincoln Brigade" facts that 3000 Americans fought "Against Hitler and Mussolini in Spain." Text also states "200 Veterans of the Lincoln Brigade are in the United States Army."
