Item Description
2x3.75x4" tall overall hand painted c. 1920s. 1.5 ounce size glass container made by L.E. Smith Co. Image of Charlie with his cane behind him standing next to container. This straight sided variety also has an original painted tin top with slot for use a bank. All glass is intact including rounded tip of Charlie's cane. Lid has some dust soiling. Fine. Some flaking to paint on Charlie but about 90% remains. Much rarer version than the other known candy container which features a barrel-shaped container. Great for display.
