Item Description
Very large 34.5x66" diecut cardboard standee, 1950s. Great full figure image of Roy and Trigger standing behind a wood sign that reads "Post Cereals." Above Roy's right shoulder is circle bearing the text "Kids! Join The Roy Rogers Riders Club." Standee has obvious scattered wear, the cardboard easel pieces on reverse, which show wear, remain complete and intact so it can be set up for display. The main problem is that the standee split across the fold line just below the sign but has been reinforced on the back w/tape. The top portion has a heavy 14" long crease across neck and shoulder area of Roy but this has also been reinforced w/tape on the back. There are some much smaller scattered lt. edge creases; four pinpoint to 1/8" puncture holes, one at top right area of the text circle, three by the "C" of "Cereals" on the sign. Overall technically VG due to the defects but appearance for display remains bright and clean. A very impressive display piece. The only example we've ever seen.
