Item Description
c. 1961 "Official Ball American League" has green ink stamped facsimile signature of American League President Joseph E. Cronin. Signed on adjoining side panel by Maris in blue ink. Very legible signature that is bold and displays nicely. Side panel that signature appears on and adjoining panel have some moderate age tanning but rest of ball remains quite bright. Signed by the New York Yankee who was the American League MVP from 1960 and 1961 and who, on Oct. 1, 1961, broke Babe Ruth's record for the most home runs hit in a single season w/home run #61. VF. Comes w/letter of authenticity from Hake's.
