Item Description
The cover features Captain America dealing a knock-out blow to another Nazi villain as other Nazis do their best to take out the hero with a hail of bullets. Those bullets aren’t half as dangerous as that double-bladed axe flying straight for his head. On the right, Bucky, tied to another inventive torturous device, cheers him on. The pencils are by Kirby. He also contributes interior art as well. Other artists working on this issue include the great Syd Shores and Al Avison. For more about Captain America, read our solicitation for Captain America #5 in the comic section of this catalog. This issue contains the origin of Father Time. It also contains the last appearance of the back-up feature, Tuk the Caveboy. The pages are off-white. The book is CGC-certified 9.0. (VF/NM). According to the CGC census, this copy is the highest graded copy they have seen.
