Item Description
This issue is recognized as a Crowley Copy. This beautifully balanced war-themed cover is by Alex Schomburg. The Nazi tanks, led by General Rommel, are circling around on the ground as the Human Torch and Toro do their best to aid the air strike of the Allies. The box at the bottom left corner places the action on the banks of the Suez. While the cover is jam-packed with figures, Schomburg manages to keep a clear focus on the hero of the book. The book also contains a back-up story featuring the Sub-Mariner. The pages are off-white. The book is CGC-certified 9.0 (VF/NM). According to the CGC census, this copy is tied with one other as the second-highest graded copy they have seen. Highest Certified
