With the war over, Timely heroes moved into fighting regular crime. Often the situations didn’t seem as dramatic, but this one sure does. Syd Shores creates the impression that The Human Torch and Toro are actually relaxing at a play, but even there, they cannot avoid crime. Shore’s skill with composition was extraordinary.
