Item Description
Puppet is 8x21" colorful thin diecut cardboard holding daisy in left hand and waving w/right hand. Has diecut mouth and eye openings w/tab on reverse to allow user to move eyes and mouth up and down. These have diecut slots so figure can either be held up or used in seated position. Ketterlinus, Philadelphia and N.Y. c. 1938. Chase & Sanborn coffee premium. Trace of lt. wear on left side edges, lt. horizontal crease across top of hat and sides of mouth, 1" hairline color rub at lower left leg area. Overall VF w/bright colors and great likeness. A classic premium. "Charlie McCarthy's Radio Party!" has a 4 1/8x7.25" tan envelope with instruction text in black and contains 21 colorful thin cardboard figures w/art image on front plus colorful diecut spinner. Diecut figures range in size from 3.5" to 4 1/8". Complete set includes one Charlie, four each of Edgar Bergen, Don Ameche, Robert Armbruster, Dorothy Lamour, Nelson Eddy. Copyright 1938 Standard Brands Inc. Envelope is tanned, a few edge creases, small tears at top flap. Spinner has lt. top edge wear. Punch-out figures are Exc. Great images of classic Hollywood stars.
