Item Description
With a dramatic cover by Frank Harry, this issue shows the JSA directly answering a speech by Adolph Hitler. Hawkman tells his fellow members about a recent speech that Hitler has made. It seems that in order for the Nazis to succeed, they have to divide and conquer. In order to do this, Hitler has sent eight agents over to America in order to accomplish this goal. To fight this threat and find the agents, each member of the JSA (except The Spectre and Johnny Thunder), works with a member of the Junior Justice Society. At the end of the book, the JSA join a group of citizens onstage at a war bond rally. The cover to this issue would later inspire Neal Adams to create a similar cover for the 100-Page Super-Spectacular World's Greatest Super-Heroes (1972). The pages are off-white to white. The story was written by Gardner F. Fox. Artists featured in this issue are Sheldon Moldoff, Bernard Baily, Joe Simon, and Jack Kirby. The book is CGC-certified 8.5 (VF+). According to the CGC Census, this is the highest certified copy they have seen.
