Item Description
1940s. Each is 3-dimensional with hollow back. Sizes range from 4" to 5" tall. Includes man with mustache with four eyes, buck-toothed woman with four eyes, clown, and serious looking man in top hat who is meant to represent Arthur Volstead, the chairman of the House Judicial Committee that helped to implement the Volstead Act which lead to Prohibition. Each figure has holes in ears as made for placement on door frame or wall for use. Woman and Volstead are stamped by maker Wilton Prod. on reverse. Each shows some use with light to moderate paint wear. Overall VG/Fine appearance. Nicely designed.
