Item Description
This is another fantastic cover by Jerry Robinson. Batman and Robin, perfectly balanced atop a flying eagle, are making a direct appeal for the purchase of War Bonds. Readers giving the cover a closer look will notice the bombers flying in formation with Batman. The issue also features an appearance by Oswald Cobblepot, better known as the Penguin. Writers on this issue include Joe Green and Don Cameron. Bob Kane, Jerry Robinson and Jack Burnley contribute art. The pages are cream to off-white. The book is CGC-certified 6.0 (FN).
