Item Description
This issue marks the beginning of Shelly Moldoff’s acclaimed run on Hawkman. This run on the character is one of the artistic highlights of the Golden Age. This title was one of DC’s greatest successes with anthologies. Home to the Flash, Hawkman, Johnny Thunder and many others over the years, the book was a solid seller for over a decade. This is a very early issue in the long run. The book lasted until 1949 when it was canceled with issue #104. This issue includes stories with all three of the characters mentioned earlier as well as The King, The Whip, and Cliff Cornwall. The pages are off-white. The book is CGC-certified 7.0 (FN/VF).
