Item Description
With a classic cover by Green Lantern great Irwin Hasen, the issue is completely devoted to one of the Golden Age's greatest female villains, the Harlequin. The blue background and the swell of the wave create a solid sense of being trapped at sea. This is one of Hasen’s finest moments. The title saw cancellation in 1949 with issue #38. The Lantern was one of the few Golden Age characters to actually have his own title. Over the years he developed a very strong and interesting supporting cast, and that led to this all-Harlequin issue. The pages are off-white. The book is CGC-certified 7.5 (VF-). According to the CGC Census, this copy is tied with one other as the third highest graded copy they have seen.
