Art is signed in ink at lower right "Creig Flessel 96'". Second original is on sheet of 8-1/8x11-7/8" art paper with wonderful ink and color pencil concept art for proposed comic book cover which was never used titled "Harlan Ellison's Dream Corridor" showing superhero type standing full figure with topless woman holding mirror at lower left. Art is initialed at lower right "CF". c. 1996. Both originals were obtained in person directly from Mr. Flessel. Both are Exc. and extremely well-done. Creig Flessel (1912-2008) was an American comic book artist and an illustrator and cartoonist for magazines ranging from Boys Life to Playboy. He is noted for his work on "The Sandman" character for DC Comics in the 1940s and drew the "David Crane" comic strip for many years. Nice examples of Flessel's versatility.
