Item Description
15x20" Morilla illustration board has wonderful 14x19" India ink and watercolor image of Manphibian coming out of swamp and heading towards viewer in moonlight. Art is signed in ink at upper right corner "Cockrum '74". Margins have lt. dust soil, image area is bright and Exc. Cockrum conceived the character out of a personal love for the 1955 Universal Studio film The Creature From the Black Lagoon and later re-imagined the character for a resin model kit produced by Action Hobbies. A striking and well done image.
