Item Description
11x17" paper sheet has wonderful ink and mixed media color original art of firefighter raising American flag in rubble with image of Twin Towers in background. Art is signed at lower left Greg Hildebrandt and at lower right Tim Hildebrandt in ink. Hildebrandt name is also hand lettered in ballpoint pen just below Tim Hildebrandt name. Bright and Exc. Comes with 15-7/8x20" printed poster that the concept art was done for which has similar image but shown from a bit different angle. Poster is titled "The Last Full Measure Of Devotion" with text noting "A Portion Of The Proceeds From The Sale Of This Poster Will Be Donated To The United Firefighters Association Widows' & Childrens' Fund , And The New York Firefighters 9/11 Disaster Relief Fund". Poster is printed by Scorpio Posters Brooklyn, NY and is no.911A. Copyright 2001 Greg and Tim Hildebrandt. Poster is Exc. Tim Hildebrandt passed away in 2006. Art and poster would be wonderful to frame together as the 10th anniversary of 9/11 approaches.
