Item Description
Sizes range from 4-1/8x4-5/8" to 5.5x8.5". Titles include "Telling Tales/8-High Magazine, Everybodys Magazine, Adventure, Street & Smith, and Short Stories". Three letters have early 1920s pencil dates at top, two of which include name of story rejected. November 6, 1922 "Short Stories" typewritten letter is actually a personal reply to author Leo B. Pride sent by associate editor Dorothy McLuraith explaining reason for rejection and ending with "Won't You Let Us Have A Look At Something Else Soon?" signed in ink. Few letters have a lt. crease but overall group is Fine/VF. Interesting.
