Item Description
Date range from 1934 to 1950. Each is approx. 6.75x9.75". Titles and dates are "Astounding Stories" Jan., Feb., Apr. 1934. "Thrilling Wonder Stories" Dec. 1937 and Oct. 1938. Nine "Fantastic Novels" include issue #2 for Sept. 1940, issue #3 for Nov. 1940 with Finlay cover and interior art and issue #4 for Jan. 1941 with Finlay cover and interior art plus Bok interior art. Other "Fantastic Novels" issues include May and Nov. 1948, May and July 1949 and March and July 1950. Nov. 1948 issue has Finlay cover. Remaining four pulps are individual issues. Includes Dec. 1941 "Future Combined The Science Fiction", Jan. 1949 "Super Science Stories", spring 1949 "Planet Stories" with Ray Bradbury story, and Dec. 1949 vol. 1 #1 "A. Merritt's Fantasy" pulp with "Creep, Shadow!" Merritt story. Only issue published of this title. Group has some scattered wear and light aging with some cover dust soil and a few creases here and there with some tanning of inside pages of earlier issues. Overall group is VG/Fine+.
