Item Description
Mailing box contains complete 1950s premium issued by Power House candy bars and is one of two varieties. This features the name "Rite-O-Lite" on the instruction paper, a variety exists bearing the name of "Secret Ray Gun." Box has no mailing label. Lt. aging and Fine. Hard plastic gun is 3.5" long w/nice futuristic design. Comes w/original battery, bulb and spring and envelope that originally contained these pieces. Battery is lightly aged but gun is NM. The 3x4" four-page instruction folder includes "How To Write Secret Messages" text on inside while back cover is an ad for Power House candy w/order blank for additional ray gun premiums available for 25¢ and two wrappers. Front of folder features text describing the premium "It's A Power-Packed Flashlight/A Secret Signal Sender/It Writes Secret Messages That Can Be Read Only In The Dark." A few lt. creases and some aging but Fine. Gun comes with stiff paper "Luma-Glo" card. Front has space map, back cover by luminous material and still glows brightly. Lt. aging and tiny surface paper rub but VF. Great design.
