Item Description
Mid-1950s made in Japan by "L.H.C". 4.5x6.5x3.75" deep thin cardboard box has nice lid graphics of monkey and clown drummers. Box has trace of lt. dust soil with split at lower right lid corner seam. A few lt. color rubs on lid. Generic box bottom has 2" split on one end panel and bit of edge wear. Fine. Clown drummer is 6" tall with rubber mallets that serve as arms to beat the drum heads. Has painted pressed cardboard face and tin litho drum with thin cardboard drumheads. Works well. Bright and Exc. appearance.
