Item Description
15-7/8x19-7/8" Grumbacher illustration board has wonderful oil painting with older bearded man using nude female in high heels as cello. The painting is titled "Mello Chello". Painting is signed at lower left "Darrell McClure". c. 1960s. McClure (1903-1987) was an American cartoonist and illustrator best know for his work on the comic strip Little Annie Rooney from 1930 to 1966. Right side of painting has a few pencil lines as done by the artist o/w painting is Exc. Well-done and amusing.
