Item Description
14.25x16.25" thin art board dated 2-19 c. 1930 has wonderful India ink image area with man reading "Detective Story" pulp under streetlight while newsstand vendor in background is being robbed at gun point. Art is signed in ink at lower right "Carlisle" with Register and Tribune Syndicate sticker at bottom left. Left side margin edge is missing .25x1.5" piece near center and top corner tips are each missing 1" diagonal piece. Image area has dust soil and a few lt. moisture marks but most of image area will mat and frame to near Fine appearance. Well drawn and funny.
