6.5x9.75" vol 3 #3 for July 1933 with 127 inside pages. One of only five issues published as this title. Wonderful front cover painting by J. Allen St. John done as illustration for H. Bedford-Jones story "Pearls From Macao" has man with dagger at woman's throat who is tied on the ground looking at man who is tied to ship rail. Other authors include Seabury Quinn and Clark Ashton Smith. Includes Robert E. Howard's story "The Lion Of Tiberias". St. John also did one single story illustration. Covers have trace of lt. dust soil, front cover has a few small lead pencil 10¢ price notations. Inside pages very lightly but evenly tanned. Overall covers Fine, pages Fine+. Scarce. "Bookery's Guide To Pulps" lists this at $400 for the Fine price. Scarce.
