This copy is part of the Edgar Church (Mile High) Collection. Cover artist Harvey Fuller gives this issue a wonderful painted cover. He places the reader right on the deck of a massive aircraft carrier as an incredible number of planes are taking off for battle. The one soldier’s wave gives the cover a slightly sentimental touch. Both he and the reader don’t really know if anyone taking off is really going to come back. Eastern Publishing seems to have given the cover artists for this title a lot of leeway and this time out, Fuller really delivers. The pages are white. The book is CGC-certified 9.6 (NM+). According to the CGC census this is the highest graded copy they have seen.
