Item Description
This copy is part of the Edgar Church (Mile High) Collection. Harvey Fuller's painted cover is a timeless representation of one of the forgotten parts of war, waiting. The first G.I. seems wary of every little thing. His eyes are darting to the right and he clutches his machine gun tightly. The guy behind him almost seems to be the very opposite of him. This one has a cigarette dangling from the tip of his lip and his look seems to be asking "so...?" Fuller has given us a scene that could have occurred thirty years later in Vietnam. C.W. Winter and Sid Greene also contribute interior art. The pages are white. The book is CGC-certified 9.4 (NM). According to the CGC census, this is the second highest graded copy they have seen.
