Item Description
c. early 1960s. Knickerbocker #756. Made in Hong Kong. 1.75x10.25x15.75" tall die-cut box has great graphics on front including astronaut at controls in cockpit, rocket blasting off with large explosion on ground and ringed planet with stars in bkg. Reverse side has assembly instructions along with large image of rocket blasting off and two kids in space uniforms shooting at target. Die-cut window reveals insert holding plastic gun, three rubber tipped plastic darts, and vinyl rocket along with die-cut cardboard launch base. Box has color rubs at corner tips with a few light creases around sides. Bottom flap is a bit pushed out. Original owner has written his name in ink in 1" area at left and right of front though not too noticeable. Box displays Fine. Gun still fires and firing mechanism of cardboard base also works. Shoots vinyl rocket in air. Base has light wear but is Fine. Rocket is VF. Nicely designed with wonderful graphics.
