Item Description
Great grouping of items from the Moon Mullins comic strip. Dates range from late 1920s through 1930s. Kayo 5" long boat ashtray, 5" tall toothbrush holder and 2-1/8" tall cane topper are all glazed ceramic made in Japan. Back of toothbrush holder has text "Copyright FAS Kayo Made In Japan". All three have lt. wear but are Fine. Glass Moon 3.75" tall salt and peppers have screw-on Bakelite hat lids with "Atlantic City" decal. Light wear but Fine. 3.5" tall Moon and 2.25" tall Kayo soap figures are hand painted and made in Germany. Light wear but Fine. 3.25" tall hand painted Moon bisque figure with Kayo sitting on his shoe is most likely also German. Paint is VG. 1.75" tall Kayo "Cracker Jack" bisque figure has text on back "Copyright FAS Japan". Trace of lt. wear but VF. An instant collection and great for display. From the Richard Merkin Collection and comes with Hake's COA.
