Item Description
Tom and Jerry were one of the most consistent sellers that Dell had. They appeared in several continuing titles over the fifties, but none was as much fun as Toy Fair. Dell Giants were among the best bargains ever in the history of comics; they delivered cover to cover art and stories. The covers Dell used were heavier than a regular comic cover and they were considerably less pliant. The size combined with the type of cover they used means that it is very hard to find Dell Giants, especially an 84 page book like this, in good condition. This copy is noted by CGC as a Dell File Copy. Since this never saw the regular route of distribution, it looks as nice as the day it came from the printer. This copy was kept in storage by the publisher until the File Copies were bought by a private collector in the Eighties. The pages are off-white. The book is CGC-certified 9.6 (NM+). According to the CGC Census, this book is tied with three others as the highest graded they have seen.
