Title page has specialty art with Smitty saying "Say Babe, Listen To 'Em Cheering Us" with crowd cheering in bkg. and Ruth standing nearby with bat on shoulder. Storyline has Smitty working for a newpaper sports department. His photographer boss takes him to ballpark to meet Ruth and he continues to go to the games for his job, talking to Ruth numerous times, meeting Grover Cleveland Alexander, Rogers Hornsby etc. He gets Grover Alexander's glove but winds up in the hospital after getting hit with foul ball but Ruth comes to visit him.
