Auction #203 - Part I
Item numbers 1 through 1428 in auction 203
Item Description
1-3/16" long exact replica of TR's pince nez glasses. Portrait of "Roosevelt" on the left lens and portrait of "Fairbanks" on the right lens with date "1904" across the nose bridge. Reverse carries name of Chicago maker "J.L. Bielder." Reverse pin has a small bend in it but it does not impede its functionality at all. Front of the piece has about 40% bright luster remaining. Other brass surfaces are clean. Our last near mint example exceeded $200.
