Lot of six from a set of eight. Each is a 3.5" dia. blank backed card with scalloped edges and features a colorized bw player photo. Color bands radiate from the card center, and this coupled with the diecut edges, gives the effect of flower petals. Player surname and team name are printed on either side of the player image. All have been graded by SGC and designated by them as being from the "Richard Merkin Collection" and comes with Hake's COA. Cards are as follows: Takeshi Doigaki 88 NM/MT 8; Tokuji Kawasaki 86 NM+ 7.5; Kaoru Betto 60 EX 5; Shigeru Chiba, Noboru Aota and Tetsuharu Kawakami are all 50 VG/EX 4. Four of these six players are in the Japanese Baseball Hall Of Fame. Exceptional card design/color.
