Auction #203 - Part I
Item numbers 1 through 1428 in auction 203
Item Description
1.25" from the early 1900s. Typically these buttons are seen with backpapers advertising a cigarette such as Chesterfield or plug tobacco such as Pick. However, Cracker Jack also used these pretty lady buttons as give-aways with their own distinctive backpaper reading "Cracker Jack 5¢ Candied Popcorn & Roasted Peanuts." Paper has four tiny tan marks all 1/8" or less. Cello has two trivial 1/16" barely visible hairline splits by the collet causing no problem. Front of the button is Exc. and displays Mint.
