Item Description
9.5x12" sheet of animation paper w/total image area of 7x8" and done in lead pencil w/red pencil accent. Drawing #23. From the 1929 Mickey cartoon which featured the debut of Horace Horsecollar on film. At center of sheet is great image of Horace facing forward and running full steam ahead, Mickey is shown holding on for dear life to the plow that is attached to Horace. This is from the sequence where Horace gets stung by a bee. To the left of this image are additional head and full figure sketches attributed to either Ub Iwerks or Les Clark. Lt. aging/handling wear but art is Exc. Early & historic.
