1.75" with tiny text at bottom edge of image area "The Whitehead & Hoag Co Newark, N.J." Reverse does not have a backpaper. Pictured is soldier ready for action in Cuba and holding his rifle with his bedroll over his shoulder and his cartridge belt and food utensils at his waist.
