Item Description
This lot includes 3" square paper label with Popeye promoting this button set comprised of King Features Syndicate characters. The label went into a vending machine that dispensed the buttons. While the buttons come in various color combinations there are eleven different characters in the set. Each is a 15/16" litho marked with the KFS copyright on the curl. The characters are: Dagwood & Blondie/Felix the Cat/Flash Gordon/Katzenjammer Kids/Little Iodine/Little King/Maggie and Jiggs/Popeye!/The Phantom/Prince Valiant/Snuffy Smith. This is a gorgeous essentially Mint set and the label is also Mint. See some individual buttons in the following lot.
