Item Description
8x10" glossy photo signed on bottom margin "Robert F. Kennedy." Signature is bold and clear although blue ink skipped a few dots on the glossy surface when he wrote the letters of "Robert F." Signature is .5" tall by 1.5" long w/bold accent line crossing the down stroke of the "Y." This identical image appears on the jacket of a 1964 campaign record (7"/33-1/3 rpm) titled "Sing Along For RFK." See RFK reference book by Gardner/Goldberg/Hennigan #1056. This signed photo was acquired by a campaign item manufacturer in New York City. A .5" wide band of white-out was applied around his entire head to isolate the head so it could be re-photographed to serve as the artwork for a campaign button or some other type of campaign item. Extreme margin edges have small amount of hardly noticeable yellowed tape residue, a minor defect that would be totally eliminated if the piece was matted. A very unusual autographed photo altered for use as a campaign item. Overall clean and Exc.
