Item Description
1" button has backpaper by Western Badge & Button Co. of Los Angeles. Depicted is young man in huge moustache, glasses, and battered hat portraying his character which appeared over station "KNX/7:45 AM/Mon. Wed. Fri." The button relates to the NBC radio show which started in 1933 titled Carefree Carnival. This was a vaudeville-style variety show starring the man portrayed on this button, Elmore Vincent. He did humorous drama and political monologues and called for "Universal Nudism." In his later years he appeared in the TV shows Little House on the Prairie, Tales of Wells Fargo, Dragnet, I Lead Three Lives. First we've seen this button which is in essentially Mint condition with just the most trivial age on the reverse.
